About the Event

Celebrate the first day of summer on June 21st by honouring the sun and the  joy, love, and light in your life!

What better time to get together with other women in community, and celebrate the source of all life? What better time to acknowledge the life force energy within us and give back to Creation some of the energy and blessings that we receive year round. The Earth constantly provides for all of us with her incredible bounty, and the Sun’s warmth provides the light necessary for all living beings to thrive and prosper.

We will celebrate the solstice sun through the exploration of how to invite the power of the sun into your home and daily life, a simple energy clearing ritual and ecstatic dance, (a free form of dance, no choreography, no set music genre, and most importantly a space for you to truly express yourself how you want!)

Cost: $30 per person

*Price covers the rental of the space & organization. The remaining portion will go to: www.nativewomenscentre.com To honour indigenous people’s day and the original/current caretakers of the this land that we are blessed, as guests, to live, love and play on, the traditional territory of Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Attiwonderonk, and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation peoples. Covered by treaty 3.

Only 10 spaces left! To confirm your spot please RSVP.
